tear: leather culottes

As most people know sewing requires commitment, concentration and precision, three things I'm not really into, but desperately need to brush up on in order to up my sewing game.
I found this uncut, unstained, 100% pristine pattern at a charity shop recently, paired it up with some old leatherette and hoped for the best in my attempt at making a pair of culottes.

From the left clockwise:
-retraced the pattern on pattern paper and pinned it down on the fabric
-cut the pattern out and pinned the front pleats and pockets together
-proceeded to sew the pieces together
-added the waistbands to the front and back
-put the elastic into the back waistband
After sewing the front and back pieces together, all I had to do was hem the bottom, hand-sew the fasteners onto the waistband and trim any flyaway threads.
look out for these coming to a wear post on your screen!
